Realm subscription says expired after I payment

I just paid for my realms subscription on my switch through the Nintendo e-store, and they game still shows that my subscription is expired. I have signed out of Microsoft restarted switch and then signed back in, uninstalled the game and reinstalled, restarted my router, and waited overnight with no success. 
   I believe that an update came through right before I paid for my subscription. I have checked on the Nintendo e-store and it shows my subscription good till 4-27-23. 
please help resolve this
