Sign Text Disappeared After Using Glow Ink Sac

I was playing Realms (Bedrock Edition) with my friend, and we were sharing furnaces with each other. I put a sign on one of the furnaces, and then used a glow ink sac on it. After like half a second the text on the sign disappeared.
