Authentication Servers Down // server type:null

This problem started a few days ago. when trying to join the realms server, I get a failed to connect to server because the authentication servers are down. When trying again multiple times in a row it will change it to a type:null response.

I have reinstalled multiple times and still no luck. It is happening to my friend as well who is the owner of the realm.
