Creating Snow blocks with a full inventory causes slot issues
The issue is most easily replicated when terra-forming large amounts of snow.
- Fill inventory with normally used items and find a snow biome.
- Break and collect snow, when inventory fills reduce to snow block.
- Repeat steps while also standing in snow and after a shovel breaks. The newly created snow block will attempt to drop into the slot but immediately revert back to materials.
- Attempt to drop an item into the slot with the inventory button, the equipment will immediately be dropped back into main inventory slots and will not be placed in hot bar.
The issue usually occurs within 5 minutes of playing and I've had to restart Minecraft on my PS4 to alleviate the issue, which may mean it is a memory issue. Repeated testing of the issue shows that it will affect additional hot bar slots as it occurs. In my test I had a shovel in slot 2 and that was the slot first to be unable to accept accept items, but emptying out a hot bar slot then attempting to build a snow block into it would also affect that slot so no items could be placed. After a while I am unable to place anything into those slots and any item I picked up prior to closing my inventory will still shown picked up if I close and reopen inventory.
All testing performed on PS4 Pro.

Addendum: In addition to restarting Minecraft, leaving and re-entering the Realm seems to resolve the issue temporarily.
The issue did not occur in the world when it was offline. I imported this world into Realms yesterday.
Additional testing: Downloaded world and loaded into offline. Unable to replicate in offline which should indicate this is a Realm issue and not offline or a world issue.
Seems like even keeping your inventory from hitting max will not alleviate the issue. In my most recent test I made snow blocks while collecting snow and after a few minutes, even with free inventory slots, I am unable to create the Snow Block. It reverts back to materials.
