@e @a @r @p @s and username not working

So on my realm I have a mod that is based around anime, now before on June 12 I was messing with commands all fine no issue, but yesterday June 16th command blocks were broken they wipe without a hover note, after I solved that a new problem was born specifying things when doing partical effects said that @a was the problem and I can't solve it. Please help
