Render distance is to low

So im on a realm that i created and i realized that the render distance is to low. It's only showing a few chunks but i have my render distance to the max. I think its 28 Chunks? But yea on my realm i have like a 60 block radius view. I cant look over a lake. Please mojang please fix this soon
