Naming Name Tag Anvil Broken

Hello, when I put a name tag into the anvil to name it, I put it in the first slot then type the text I want, when I go to the output and take the name tag it glitches out of my pointer, This is before I have placed it back into my inventory, and puts it back in the first slot of the anvil. This does not take my 1xp and does not hold the name on the tag.
