Realm Disapears when Owner doesn't log in for a period of time

My friends and I share a realm. When the owner of the realm doesn't log on for a period of time (usually a day or so), the realms homepage pops up the "Get a trial" or "Buy and realm!" buttons with the pictures to the left of it.

This happens to both myself and the others in the realm who are not the owner. Every time I get the owner to log into minecraft, even if he just opens up his launcher, the realm is accessible to myself and whoever could not see it before.
