Interaction Delay with crafting tables, furnaces etc.

when im exiting out of a furnace, it wont let me re-open til about a full second has passed why is there a delay with interacting?? is there a way to fix that? its super annyoing and makes things slower to do. its infuriating have that delay what is the purpose of that delay?
