I can't teleport from the ender dragon island to the end city islands

When I either throw an ender pearl or swim into the ender gateways/portals to the end city islands it doesn't teleport me through, but instead teleports me a few blocks away still on the ender dragon island. The spot it teleports me to is the place that I first picked up the ender dragon egg. I am playing on xbox one but not on the xbox one version but the cross platform version. I have a clip of the issue on my account on xbox, if you would like to view it to better understand the bug either message me on Instagram @braeden.torres or message my xbox account @broadcasts . If you message me on xbox make sure to put a space at the end of my gamertag, I will have a red gamerpic that says Broadcasts on it. I would greatly appreciate if this bug was fixed soon, as I am not the only one having this issue.
