Piglin barter and hopper, gold duplication

I was making an auto trade system with a piglin. I have a hopper redstone clock running into a dispenser, causing it to dispense a gold ingot at the piglin's feet level. Below the piglin is a hopper with a carpet on top and through testing I've realized that the hopper sucks up the golden ingot, but at the same time the piglin grabs it and starts to barter. So I get the golden ingot and whatever the piglin drops due to that barter, in my collection chest, thus duplicating it.
