Menu screen buttons unresponsive after getting disconnected from multiplayer

So I was playing survival with a friend and I had to shut my laptop. When I came back I was disconnected from the server and I clicked ok, which took a few seconds to work. I was back on the play screen but when I click any of the buttons (Play, Settings, Marketplace, Profile etc.) they do not load the allocated ui for a bit. Sorry I'm not very good at explaining but please try and fix this issue, thank you
