Server IP with sub-domain is invalid

I attempted to join my server after the new update and was presented with, "Invalid IP Address".
Servers without subdomains work fine, but my server with a subdomain setup is an invalid IP. Everything is setup correctly. Minecraft will refuse to even try to join.
