Infinite item stacks

What I expected to happen was...:
I expected that the stack of 9 bone meal would disappear after betong used

What actually happened was...:
When me and my cousin were playing on my world he suddenly got infinite bone meal. Because I dont like cheating i tried filming the bug, putting it in a chest will remove the infinite stack

1. I don't know how to reproduce this bug
