I installed Minecraft on my iPad Pro 2018 12.9

I installed Minecraft on my iPad Pro 2018 12.9 and the safe screen area is not working correctly and does not use the whole screen, it does not let me adjust it.  I saw a issue similar to mine and the solution was to download Secret Settings pack by @wildthegamer_ but I cannot find this pack or the user who made it.  Please could you help me or give me instructions so I can get this working my son really would like me to play with him.

I do not know the version, but I download it yesterday off the ios store and it updated to the latest version.
