Ancient debres disappear in blast furnace!

I put ancient debres in a hopper connected to a blast furnace to smelt it but then when they would be done smelting there was nothing in the furnace anymore I MINED FOR 2HOURS FOR THEM JUST TO DISAPPEARE IN A BLAST FURNACE btw I was playing alone so nobody could have taken it please fix 🥺.
