creeper bug and Broken cave sounds

In my Minecraft survival world cave, sounds play above ground (only during the day) and creepers continue to blow up after they are ignited even if I get several blocks away before detonation, sometimes I get far enough away that I don't take damage but they end up destroying my farm and house.
