Minecraft crashes, won't uninstall, won't do anything - xbox one

I got the September 3rd 2020 update on the original xbox one.  Since getting the update the game loads the splash screen then force closes.  I tried to uninstall the game, the xbox will not do that either.

Not really sure what to do other than report it.
