Open trapdoors don't behave like ladders

In the java edition, open trapdoors act just like ladders if you put one at the top of a ladder, so you can just simply climb out of it without having to jump. But in the bedrock edition you get to the end of the ladder, and that's it, you can't climb on the trapdoor, so you have to jump to get out of it.
