Since latest switch update, MS account disconnecting every 2nd or 3rd time

Every few times my son plays on his switch the Microsoft Account is disconnected.  Prior to the last update and then hotfix his Ms account was connected for months without issue.  I have to then enter in the code on microsoft's website to reconnect it.  Then it works, but then the next day or the day after it's disconnected again.  "DAD!  DAD!  SOMETHING'S WRONG WITH MINECRAFT!"
