won't start

For an unknown reason, my digital copy of Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition will not start. I have tried several things, including deleting the game and reinstalling it, but nothing seems to work. When I open the game, all it shows is a black screen, and won't go past that. When I close it, it takes forever to close, and then says that it was closed "due to an error." I have no other details for this, but keep in mind that I have tried as much as I can.
