"Space-Time Corruption"

After many, many occasions where Minecraft has caused my switch to crash, I experienced some unexpected behaviour such as item duplication, unexplained disappearances of mobs and items and odd transformations. It seems, after some research, that if the Nintendo Switch crashes or freezes as an autosave is occurring, some pieces of information are saved while others are not. This can be irritating as it may save an item being dropped but not it being picked up. However, this bug can be incredibly useful for duplicating items or cheating death. On some occasions, the game saves the fact that an item was added to a player's inventory but not that it was removed from the storage unit (chest, shulker box, etc.) that it was just removed from causing it to exist both in the player's inventory and in the storage unit (effectively duplicating it). I first performed this glitch by accident using a shulker box (as the storage unit) and a dragon egg (as the item to duplicate). We lost two shulker boxes (the box that the had the duplicated egg in it was fine) but at least I got a free spare dragon egg.
