Insane XP from taking food out of smoker on realm

when taking food out of a smoker, i received an insanely high amount of XP. Like, mended my entire elytra when taking out 12 mutton kind of high. I've gotten to 55 (from 21) levels by cooking a few minutes of gathering worth of food (and to 100 from a few stacks of potatoes now). Issue did not occur when taking stone out of a furnace, nor did it occur when i cooked meat in a furnace. The issue did not occur when i tried it on a single player world. The issue persisted after leaving and exiting the realm. Did not happen when other members of the realm (both on PC and Switch) tried with their own smokers, but when they tried using mine, it worked. After a bit of testing we have found that it does not happen every time an item is taken out, and seems to give about 1 (but occasionally more) full level when taking out a single item. Sometimes, i will take out many items and gain several levels, other times i will take out many items and gain a normal amount. Not very consistent. We seem to get the most levels when taking out food one item at a time. No idea how it's only affecting one smoker (as far as we've found that is). In the video attached i start with 84 levels and take out just a few potatoes, i am at 88 levels at the end of it.
