Microsoft account continually logging out

every time i log into minecraft on the switch i am logged out of my microsoft account. this becomes even further irritating when i press sign in and have to enter a code online to log in. this rarely works first time and i tend to end up putting in a new code online 5-10 times every time i play the game before i will actually be logged into my account.
