Purchasing Minecoins updates Microsoft Billing address

When attempting to purchase mine coins in windows 10 I get the error

I have noted that the address I use in the microsoft store changes from
Address
TristanJarvis
3 Coates Street
Linden
Wellington
Wellington

New Zealand
to
3 Coates Street
California
90002
Wellington
United States
The second address is incorrect and I am unable to delete it from my account but can set it back to the NZ address.
Please advise me how to either remove the california address or fix the marketplace to stop overriding my correct address during purchases
