A single gold ingot is picked up for trading by multiple Piglin

I discovered three Piglins in a tight area in one of the Blackstone structures. I was doing some trading and threw out some gold ingots for them. Due to the close proximity of the three Piglins, they were all able to pick up the ingot, and they all did. One ingot was picked up by all three of them and each of the three gave me a reward. I was able to do this repeatedly. I have a clip of it currently on my Xbox profile but the file is too large to attach. Username is Breegullbeak on Xbox.
