Microsoft keeps disconnecting

When on the main screen it shows that my XBL account is linked to my Minecraft account on PS4. When I load into a game it states in the pause menu that it has been disconnected and to return to the main menu to reconnect.  When I do that it shows me still connected. This is causing a pretty big issue as my console has the world that my friends and I play on. As realms is not an option for Sony players we have to have this account up and running to be able to play. How can this be fixed?
