Can't play with phone or with Windows 10 edition of Minecraft on my Switch

So the 1.16.21 update come out but i can't play with myself or with anyone else on my Switch with online or LAN mode either. If i choose a map on my switch hit play then on the menu it says i am not connected to my microsoft account but if i go back to the menu screen it says my microsoft account name on the right.
