jurassic world dlc world wont load

i just recently bought the jurassic world dlc. i made a new world and played for about an hour after saving the game and closing minecraft. when i loaded the same world later, i spawned in a flat world. i tried making a new world. this one put me in a flat world without me even seeing the jurassic world map. i made lots more worlds with the same effect. eventually i got a world to work. i played for about 30 minutes this time. i saved and loaded the world multiple times to see if it really saved and that i would not spawn in a flat world. this did not happen. i closed minecraft. the next time i wanted to play on that world, i spawned in another flat world. this keeps happening no matter what i try. i would really appreciate it if this would be fixed.

 

i already tried uninstalling the dlc and the game then downloading the game and the dlc again
