Game crashes when resuming from suspension

When I suspend the game whether by putting my phone to sleep or by switching to a different app. When I come back, the resume menu looks like the attached image and is unclickable. I have to restart the app to get rid of it. I don't have any texture packs installed and I only have one skin pack from the in app store
