in game chat issues

Messages are severely delayed or do not show up at first and finally i was forced into using another method to communicate with everyone. i was able to stay in the world but at the cost of being unable to use the chat feature. I have had to make the sad decision of not playing until the next update or a patch of sorts is available or if i do decide to play still i wont be able to chat or join friends. i haven't tried to see if they can join me but I'm not sure they'll be able to.
