View button on controller does nothing on iOS

The "View" button on my Xbox One controller (the one with the 2 overlapping rectangles) does nothing on my iPad and iPhone. When I try to map the button to a function, nothing happens. Similarly, if I set it to its default function (open notification/mob effects), pressing it in-game does absolutely nothing, even when a notification is on screen or I have status effects. I am certain that this is not an iOS bug, as the View button works perfectly fine in other games, such as Roblox.
