Stays on white screen for too long while loading

When loading up minecraft pocket edition the loading screen is on white for too long. It has a flash of the Mojang studios logo screen then it goes onto the white screen for about one and a half minutes and then onto the actual loading screen for about a minute. It is a very annoying bug especially when I want to go on there quickly to check one thing.
