After I updated Minecraft, I tried to place a nether block while teleporting back to my world then that caused my world to have dark areas and after I closed app and came back then app crash with no reports or warning.

This happened after I updated minecraft. I was in the nether portal and when i was teleporting back to my world ItI the screen trying to place a nether block inside the portal. I teleported to my world then my world started to have problems. There was dark areas even though there was light and I went back to nether and came back to my world and it got worse. I exited Minecraft and went back on and now everytime i try to go back to my world the screen shows like im sleeping in a bed and then the game just crash with no reports or warning. I want to get back to my world so i i tried copying but it crashed like my main world so it looks like I have to start all over to a new world but before I do that I want to know if i can get my world back or no.
