PS4 - Can't Scale GUI Size in Split Screen

In vertical or horizontal split screen, the Quick Inventory at bottom of screen AND the Inventory menu cannot be sized up to a proper viewing size

 

User has to stand 1 foot away from TV to correctly differentiate icons.
