Ghasts just floating in place

In this version, the Ghasts don't fly around the Nether and just float on place, even when they attack me which makes attacking them too easy. Can you please fix this? It only happens on my older worlds and they act normally on newly-created worlds. Is there a way for me to fix the Ghasts' behavior in my world without recreating the world? Because I don't want to lose my progress.
