Game freezing/crashing whenever I press home on my Nintendo Switch

After the 1.16.20 update came out, I have experiencing game freezes whenever I press home on my Switch along with several other times when I was doing tasks on my realms server. This has meant meant I have had to restart my device multiple times, which has ruined my time in the new update. This may only be for realms, or for Nintendo Switch, I don't know, but it is very irritating to play with.
