Everytime i use a texture pack or a skin it just turns my minecraft to just background

I have tried everything i could to fix it and it keeps bugging out and turning into only background so i have to re install it every time i use texture pack and when i stopped ising texture packs and skins it didn't bug so i have just been a steve for 3 months.
