In the new update for 1.16.20 every time I click on anything there’s always random coding showing and when I try to join something my game just freezes and now I can’t play Minecraft plz help and I’m on IOS

I updated my game to the newest version which is 1.16.20 nothing was wrong until I realized that my texture pack wasn’t loading. I restarted my Minecraft and my texture pack loaded but there was this random coding text that randomly started to appear. Every time I try to join a world, realm, or even server my Minecraft just froze. I kept restarting my Minecraft but it wouldn’t fix and now I can’t play mc. Someone plz help
