World Freezes

Every few seconds my friend's world freezes. In the period when the world freezes, I can't open my inventory, or any interactive thing. Although this only happens when I join my friend's world. It's not an internet issue because I checked the other things that require wifi, and my internet was fine. It's not a problem with my minecraft because when my friend joins me, the world doesn't freeze.
