Fireworks don’t explode!

I was trying to make fireworks for a large display but when I tested a few rockets to ensure they were correct, they did not show the effects (like a large ball or a creeper face). They would make the sound of the explosion but not the visual effect

I expected to see a dazzling fireworks show by crafting firework stars into my rockets

Instead I just got noise and no visuals

To recreate the bug, simply craft a simple firework with a star, then launch it. Nothing happened!
