All Imported Minecraft Skins Turn Invisible on the menu and skin editor but will turn into a Skin showing a Steve with yellow shirt

When you go into Skin editor and go to import skins and choose a skin layout image, the skin will go completely invisible. However when you go into a game the skin will be a Steve with a yellow shirt and black pants. I have tested this on a server and it appears that many others have been effected by this.
