Getting error cant load Character skin

When trying to change my skin when going to profile it says refresh so I clicked it but it didn't work it Said error loading chracter 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 I cant change any character slots so fix it I spent nearly 12 to 10 dollars on skins and worlds and texture packs.
