Enabling Cheats Not Working

I made a realm with cheats not enabled. After a couple days I wanted to enable them and it told me if I do enable them I wont be able to get achievements. I enabled and none of the commands were working. It keeps telling me that cheats arent enabled even tho when I go to the settings it shows that they're indeed enabled. I've tried closing out of the game 4x. Nothing is working and it shows that they're enabled in the settings but when I type a command it tells me they aren't.
