Turtle Eggs Disappear

I placed a turtle egg on sand in a well lit enclosed area it started to hatch but then just disappeared with no baby turtle left behind. This has happened 3 different times. When checking to make sure this wasn't a duplicate I noticed a report from a couple weeks ago marked as resolved but I am still having this problem.
