When trying to switch items using main hand, the item sometimes doesn't change. Note that it only happens in worlds with a lot of commands.

When I try to switch from an item to another to hold on my main hand, sometimes it doesn't change to the item I want to. For example, when I am holding a stack of redstone dust, and I want to change it to a redstone repeater, it shows that I am still holding the redstone dust and I am still able to place it. Note that this issue happened in creative mode and that world had a lot of commands.Cannot put video of it due to file size limit.
