Piglins inconsistently picking up gold ingots

When dropping ingots for piglins, there is about a 50% chance the piglin will pick up the ingot for trades. This is prevalent in piglin farms where the gold just sits on the ground in front of the piglin. If a hopper system is being used, the gold will often go straight through past the piglin.
