When I try to play with Minecraft PE with some friends in my own world, the only skin I and my friend see is Steve, even though we have equipped skins that each has uploaded.

I can't see another skin when playing with a friends in private world(not server), I have a skin uploaded, and in the main menu it says it's equpied, but when I see my friends devices my skin shows as Steve, the same problem goes for them.
