Items disappearing

Ok so I was gonna building my trophy room and I got off next day spawn in and half of my trophies are gone  and I restarted minecraft thinking it was a glitch so I come back still not there then I restarted again and again and I had  a friend come on it he could see it and now I am mad I just lost my dragon egg on a fully legit world the items btw was in item frames.
