Cant connect to Friends world even though we both are on good wifis and on xbox live.

I cant connect to my friends. WE HAVE wifi, WE ARE friends on XBOX live yet I cant join them.... i live across the world feom them now and the least i expect is to be able to play with them SO PLEASE fix the game for Pocket Edition Its all i have...
